Tag.bio is an agile data analytics platform that is used in the medical and life science research fields that seeks to make data analytics more accessible. Tag.bio is in the startup incubator phase, and will be demoing their product to venture capitalist for their series A round of funding.

Website and Style Guide Redesign

  • A revamped aesthetic, brighter, and suited for the healthcare industry.

  • Intriguing to users, but without too much technical detail.

  • Attractive to investors and future employees.

Role

UX Research and Design

Lead a UX team of 3 through market research, usability testing, analysis, ideation, creation of style guidelines and wireframe design.

Process

Research: Background research and competitive analysis on the healthcare data analytics startup space

Analyze: Determine hypothesis, design user flows, recruit and interview participants. Synthesize findings, create personas, narrow down potential UI style directions.

Ideate: Ideate potential solutions, define initial style guide, and create site wireframes

Deliver: Present high fidelity mockups and finalized style guide
